At Bridgetown International University, we invite applications from medical aspirants worldwide for admission to our medical program for MD in Barbados.
While applications for admissions are accepted throughout the years, fresh batches start in the month of January, May, and September.
To get admission to our MD Program and study medicine in Barbados at Bridgetown International University, students are not required to go through any entrance examination except in the case when entrance examination is required by any medical authority in their home country.
Admission to 5-Year MD Program (including 1-Year Pre-Medical Program) is granted on the basis of marks in Senior Secondary School Examinations while for admission in 4-Year MD Program, scores in the graduation degree with a science background are main determinant factors.
Admissions are provided based on merit. Those applicants who meet the eligibility criteria and other requirements of admission, as may be applicable at the time of admission, are offered a medical seat in the next batch on the first-come-first-serve basis. Donation or capitation fee of any kind is neither charged nor accepted. To get admission, students need to pay only nominal charges for admission and processing followed by Tuition Fee.
